New Items or Gift Cards to Purchase New Items

Donate items needed for foster parents for licensing requirements: smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, lock box / looking tool box for medicines, first aid items and plastic mattress covers. New or Gently Used Items to the Hope Room

What is the Hope Room? Usually, when a child is placed they come with only the clothes on their back and possibly a bag that was quickly filled by a social worker or a police officer. The Hope Room is a place where foster parents can take their foster child and receive free clothes and items they need. The child also receives a new toy, book or stuffed animal that is sure to bring a smile to a hurting child. The First Church of the Nazarene in Lewiston, Idaho lets us utilize the basement of their Women's Ministry Center for free for the Hope Room.

Items needed: clothing, shoes and coats from birth to teen; cribs; twin, trundle, bunk or toddler beds; car seats (less than 4 years old and accident free); bedding; highchairs; small toys; small stuffed dolls and other stuffed toys; and children's books. A Foster Family Support Card

Give discounts on items, labor or training from your business, organization or place of work to support Foster Families. Examples: free haircuts, wholesale or discounted prices, free automobile lube job, buy one menu item - get one free, or free labor. Contact Angie or call her at (509) 758-8918 for more details.

For the Annual Foster Family Christmas Party

At Christmas time we have an annual Christmas Party where the foster families gather for a time of celebration. Every foster child receives a $25 gift(s) of his/her special request. Dinner and dessert is provided for the families. Santa visits, games are played, prizes are given and photos are taken. For this festivity you could donate your service (baking, set-up/clean-up, decorating, childcare, etc.) or a monetary gift. Contact Angie or call her at (509) 758-8918 for more details.

For the Summer Celebration

A party is given for the foster kids and families in July. For this celebration you could donate your time, service or monetary gifts. Contact Angie or call her at (509) 758-8918 for more details.

To Sponsor a Child

Give a monetary gift so that a child can attend lessons (piano, gymnastics, guitar, dance, etc.), sports or seasonal activity / pass (aquatic center, Silverwood, ski pass, fairs, etc.). Contact Angie or call her at (509) 758-8918 for more details.

To Sponsor a Foster Family

Give a monetary gift or scholarship so that foster parents can attend training, conferences and meetings. Contact Angie or call her at (509) 758-8918 for more details.
